It's always great to hear kind words about Canada from Americans :)

I haven't talked to single person that thought the Canadian tour shows were anything less than spectacualr, especially Kitchener, London, Ottawa, Calgary, Halifax and SJ. The guys were in such great spirits for the tour and the shows were intimate and high energy!

That said, I think the chances of anoyher Canadian tour aren't that great. But what I do think it likely to happen is to see more Canadian cities getting shows on their next NA tour. Given the proximity of places like Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, etc. to each other and to nearby American cities, it seem logical that the next NA tour might have 6 or 7 Canadian shows, rather than the typical 3.

    One can hope anyway ...

i dont know. a lot of US comuters got fucked with at the border. Fuck canada. Anyone wearing a pj shirt or anyone who's purpose was to see a concert got their cars searched. Atleast at the crossing i was at, on I29 in North Dakota/ontario border. I saw atleast 3 people in a half hour get denied admittence because of one reason or another. You canadians should just stick to Nickleback.

  • We can only hope the guys loved us so much as that they would grace us with their presence of yet another Canadian tour.

Ya -- that NEVER happens when we go to the States. We got pulled from our car, placed in separate interrogation rooms and had my car pulled apart before the St Paul '03 show. They did let us in after an hour and a half of interrogation though and I have never spent more than 30 seconds at the border since.

I had just the opposite encounter, the guy checking ID at the border was going to the same three shows I was, it was a breeze getting through - this was through Buffalo.

And everyone I encountered in Canada were very friendly. One guy even honked at us and said, did you drive all the way from New Jersey to here? My reply "Yep, and it was awesome!"

    I'd go back any time.

sorry i upset so many of you. Im glad to here canada isnt all bad, however, my experience was...besides the actual PJ shows. Even at the Winnepeg show things were troubling. The venue was awesome and i liked the downtown atmosphere. During black i was taking advantage of a down moment to smoke a cigarette and out of nowhere a security guard grabs my brand new pj shirt by the collar and starts dragging me out of the crowd. My buddies grabbed me from the other side. When the dude realized he had more than me to deal with he let me go but continued to yell at me about smoking a cigarette. Meanwhile, Eds up on stage smoking the whole show. Its a fucking rock concert.

Before the show we ate at restaurant connected to the venue where we paid 20 bucks a plate for the smallest portions of overcooked salmon id ever had. Then I went to a gas station and paid $11 for a pack of cigarettes. and get this, on our way home we mangaged to misplace all of our lighters so we stopped at some ma&pa gas station. I went in and asked if i could get a book of matches. You know what the lady said, "There six cents." No fuckin shit. I couldnt believe it. I gave her a US quarter and told her to keep it. God I love Canada!
