    I wrote the piece--glad you enjoyed it. :)

    It was originally longer, but I knew I could just go on and on... so I trimmed it up.

    Well, I checked my docs and realized that I edited the full version down--the one I posted is the only one I've got. :(

    There was more banter--talk about being a dad, if he was still with Beth, talk about the Bush presidents, a couple of song references. I cut the girlfriend/wife stuff because it could be seen as rude, and the other stuff because it was too obvious. And that stuff didn't seem to match up with what I was going for.

    So really, what you read is better than what I'd put together before editing. (That's what editing is for!) Sorry to disappoint!
