Group that you like that none of your friends like

For me it is the Hooters. I think they have been unfairly lumped in there with the Bryan Adams and Thompson Twins caliber bands. I liked them the first time I heard "And We Danced" and haven't looked back. For those of you too young to remember, these guys came out in the mid 1980's. Yikes!

    98% of my friends hate metal..and that is pretty much all I listen too!

    I am turning some of them though.

    For me, it's Soundgarden. I don't know, a lot of ppl just think that they either "have songs that are too slow," "had only one good song: Black Hole Sun," or that "Cornell has a bad voice." Yeah, and I think me saying that Cornell could easily outperform Robert Plant didn't help my case much either. But hey, I've heard just about everything Zeppelin ever did, and as much as I love Robert Plant, CHRIS CORNELL WAS THE SHIT BACK IN THE DAY!!!

    My girlfriend hates Son Volt (or any band Jay Farrar sings in) and Ryan Adams. They're two of my favorites too. I can't think of any friends that hate anything though. Pretty much every one I know learns to at least respect artists I listen to on a regular basis.

    Its hard to say cuz I have lots of different friends of different ages and wayyy different tastes. I was about to say Alice in Chains but then I remembered I have a teacher friend who likes them. I guess I got it pretty good lol.

    no one of my friends listen to pearl jam or nirvana...or soundgarden...the groups i love...that's horrible...only one who's age is 21...no one in my age(15)listens to pearl jam...deprimente!!and in spain they are unknown...
