    I hope not - I am supposed to be attending the grammy's I would be heart broken if he didn't show :(

    i think he's grown up since the "Spin The Black Circle" Grammy, i even see him performing at the Oscar's if he gets a nod!!

    He had to personally send the songs in to be considered. It's ridiculous to believe he wouldn't attend and perform Guaranteed.

    i think its movie people that submit that stuff...it will be good promotion for the film to get a nod on oscar night.

    as for ed showing/not showing up, i'll bet he'll be there. seems that since they signed on to J they have slid back into the self-promotion of the 10 days, only without the self-depricating humor. heck, even when they were nominated a couple years ago for man of the hour they didn't show up. the band has drastically changed in the past 18 months, IMO. so i say ed goes, and if he gets an award, accepts it with a nice, happy speech. sadly.

    The band is now on a hiatus; No Pearl Jam = Ed will be there

    Man of the Hour was nominated? For which award? I've carried a bitterness because I thought that song was ignored!

    Actually the band was on hiatus at that point as well. That was at the end of 2003, a few months after they had finished the Riot Act tour.
    Can't escape from the common rule...
