Picked up my Seattle '98 poster on the way home from work tonight:
The left side of the frame has the setlist from Night #1, a picture of the grandstand at Memorial Stadium with the Space Needle in the background & a shot of Ed & Stone:
The right side has the setlist from Night #2, Yield CD case & a Seattle Skyline shot from Kerry Park on top of Queen Anne Hill:
Matte Detail - burgundy linen bottom matte & black with yellow core on top:
I love how my framer put the Space Needle in the center of the CD... It kind of reminds me of the view of the Space Needle you get looking thru the "periscope" when using the urinal in The Five Point Café, one of my favorite dive bars in Seattle!!
So happy to FINALLY add this poster to my collection...
It was the ONLY poster from a show I attended that I didn't have... My collection is now COMPLETE!!!
When were you able to find one? I know you had been looking for a while.
A good friend from here on the boards put me in touch with one of his buddies that was trying to sell his copy!!! I got it a few months ago, but didn't get it framed until a few weeks ago!! Wow! Missoula '98. Don't see many of those. Would love to have that as I was at that show as well. Very cool!!
Let me tell you, getting that Missoula poster home unscathed after that show was a miracle. Love that town.

I love this poster so much. We went to the show after getting married, even wore our wedding clothes (we eloped, so it was not ballgown big style) Looks great. We had ours (not signed) framed quite expensively, but it was when we were new to framing and did not know how to... Ours is in a very slim frame that matches the brown tones of the poster.

Dankind - I love the frame you found for that Wrigley poster, looks super cool! And I hear you about hanging posters.... We moved in in freaking February, and have not hung a single one yet. We have paint on the walls and all, but we're not finished yet and wanted to reframe a couple of ours with some nicer stuff. But then there is always something else that we need to put money into... Life of a homeowner!

Anyone have thoughts or experience on framing a foil print? Just got the MMJ St Augustine print in the mail yesterday. First foil Ive even seen in person let alone framed. Wondering if it might look better without the usual double matting if I just find a unique frame. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
