Anyone wearing something called a dad hat needs to turn in their man card, pronto!
The merch people coined that term. They should have just called it Really Cool Hat and then I could keep my man card.
I bought one but it's not a very sturdy hat. Can't believe I paid $35 for it.
I think it’s better made than the t shirts and sweatshirts. At least it has embroidered lettering on the side; not that cheap iron-on crap they used on the sweatshirt. $35 for a hat is pretty standard imo. Take any pro team hat of this style and you’ll pay $30-$35 as well. I do have gripes about quality and pricing of some of this years merch, but not the Dad Hat.
I hate the term "dad hat." That's how you're supposed to wear a fucking hat. The tall, stiff crown, flat brim, intact stickers & tags bullshit should be called "little fucking prick hat."

I agree.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

+1, either that or for people with massive Frankenstein heads. My head is regular sized, round, and proportional in size with my body. Dad hat, indeed. We used to call them ball caps, but I'm considered a senior citizen here, so what do I know about hipster fashion?
