I like it. I was trying to grab it for a friend. I like his Seattle poster a lot more, though. This is by far my favorite he's done:

    this is a great one!

I’m thinking I’m the only only one who really just doesn’t like the Rome poster.
My one gripe is the perspective/angle -the way the tiles aren't square. I think the composition would have been much improved if the view was looking straight down without the receding angle.

sad day. seems they only sold a total of 5 romes.
Nope it appears there was closer to 100 according to the numbers.
From the 5886 to my number in the high 60xx range its more like 200 to 250
Pure conjecture on my part, but I think there's probably 200-250 prints in a box.  10c holds one back where possible, more when they're overproduced and don't sell out at shows (ahem, Seattle, Chicago, Boston).  So Rome had a box held back and they sold out.  Thomas Wrigley was about 200-250 sold as well if I remember correctly.

Again, pure guessing on my end, but would make sense.

Well, I wish they wouldn't have held back that box of Thomas' at Chicago. I missed it both nights and at the 10C drop....

I never understand what people see in some of these posters.  oh well...

It is a great poster that actually has art that is tied to the location of the show.  Look at the Amsterdam 2012 posters and the Prague 2012 poster, and then come back and wonder why people are liking the Rome poster.

I suppose that’s one of the positives about the ebayers.
If it were 100% 10C folks purchasing to frame and hang their poster, you’d be out of luck.
But you still have a shot at getting one, if you are willing to shell out the cash.

And if you're a professional flipper, no interest in the band, $20 for 10C doesn't mean anything when your bots pull in thousands per month on shows, AP posters, etc.

I was looking at one of the sellers for the Rome print on eBay and that's exactly what they are.  Just tons of expensive posters from different bands.  If you can deal with a little immorality, pretty easy way to make some bucks.

There are certainly times that a perceived demand will drive the actual demand and "value" of posters.  One that comes immediately to mind is the "Transformers" poster.

Some are incredible prints though.  Demand is doubled due to flipping and people actually desiring the artwork.  This falls under that category.  This one, Portland, Some Munk Ones like EV Seattle and Pittsburgh, The Catch.
