The backdrop unfolds in angles, corners
where we see sound sit. Strands of greenery,
a catalog of natural sliced firs
detailed with positioned roses poised three
inches apart. Repeated paint patterns
completes the walled white noise. This scenery
possesses and soothes, conversations spurred
to break down walls when she walks to her seat.

The pianist swings her confidence rolled
and direct in a shimmering gown white
as blank pages. The cold-black piano
obeys in stops and starts, crescendos bright
with personal style, roaring the roar whole
she tames in long notes parallel to night.
There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous
