I don't have a favorite musician in pearl jam

But i find it easiest to compliment Mike
I feel like waves of electricity in his soul
And my words not read by Mike actually
Are food to his youth through deja vu
Or something
Mike is the best musician i ever heard
I just love him like potatoes

Yes sir me and Mike walking hand in hand
To the promised land

Funny because everyone, every single person that is attracted to Pearl Jam is attracted to the voice Eddie Vedder at first. Nobody hears a PJ song and says I love that guitar, not at first at least. Then we figure it out. I started at Ed, now I’m on Mike

I noticed that the guitarists were way more skilled than I am when I first heard them, and marvelled at some of those solos and how I never would have had a hope of learning any of them. Fast forward about 17 years and I still haven't managed to learn any of the Pearl Jam guitar solos.

I dunno, the wailing guitar on Dissident is what first caught my attention, along with the actual lyrics as opposed to Ed's voice specifically.

Honestly when I first heard Pearl Jam it took me a while to really warm to them. They weren't punk enough for my liking. I was a Nirvana guy first.

It's so hard to choose because like most i was totally focused on ed as a 17 year old. But as ive grown up with this band and seen many shows. It changes and it is impossible for me. I love jeff for his original grooves. And matt same reason. Stone is so technically good. Of course live mike is the man. Damn we are lucky

I have a shrine for Boom.  It has piles of his toe nails at the base, which I lick every night at approximately 7pm.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

I thought I was the only one!  Although I usually start around 6:30.

As a musician? It's matt. Mike can shred on guitar, but nothing super creative. Stone and Jeff are probably better musicians. Love em all though

Stone is like jimi too im not always saying just mike because stone is got a left hand i trade an eye for.  And jeff is just my all time favorite on bass. The song blood from the vs album
Really though Stone wrote the best songs ever in mother love bone .
Its easy to compliment all the players so i will tell you what i wrote matt
"Its easy to be the worlds best drummer"
Matt should make a hip hop record
