    Today is International Women’s Day.

    Help make sure that women are experiencing the same social, economic, cultural and political achievements as men. Today and every day.  Here are six things you can do:


    1. Read We Should All Be Feminists [64 pages] by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. [Or watch her TED Talk]

    “My own definition of a feminist is a man or a woman who says, yes, there’s a problem with gender as it is today and we must fix it, we must do better. All of us, women and men, must do better.”  





    2. Register for the #PressForProgress Thunderclap. Across the world, and across social media platforms, global audiences will simultaneously show their support of #PressForProgress and gender parity.


    3. Commit to Vote in 2018 | #PowerToThePolls

    4. Wear purple to demonstrate solidarity with women around the world, as suggested by Women’s March organizers.





    5. Take an action with Global Citizen.     Stand with Global Citizen on issues related to gender equality by taking action on their website. (This link goes live today at 6:30 ET)
