Would You Like Pearl Jam to Play No Repeats for Back to Back Shows This Tour?

How cool would it be, or not, if PJ played their back to back shows with no repeats?
Would it sour your mood? Make it more exciting at the anticipation of what could be coming?

My answer is only for the U.S. tour and only because it is only seven shows in four locations. On a normal tour my answer would be only a few repeats, because there are a few songs that most casual fans would be disappointed not to hear at their first/only Pearl Jam show. But on the short U.S. tour featuring special shows at special venues? That could be very cool.

Who wouldn't want to hear 70 or so different songs over two nights?

I think there is a huge contingency of repeat customers at their shows at this point in their careers. Many of us are getting home from the shoes and waiting to see what we can mark off the "haven't heard live" list.

I don’t mind! They do a great job of keeping the set lists different every night. Plus more than half the people there love hearing the hits, and not many people will get to see two shows.

I think most of us that post here would love it. Now, the causal fan who wants to hear Evenflow, Jeremy and Betterman...they probably wouldn't care for this too much.

I'm excited that The National is doing that for The Homecoming Festival and I would enjoy it for PJ.

It's a dangerous way to be - and I'm guilty of "song hunting" for sure. For example, I was really bummed at Toronto 2 in 2016 when they played Black and Better Man during the second encore, two songs they had already played the show before. The band had performed so many songs that I had yet to see live before that, I got greedy and wanted even more changes from night 1 and didn't really enjoy the performances. Shame on me!

I will I'll do myself very best to appreciate whatever they decide to play this summer (as long as it includes Release!)

Really?  You'd like to see them play the same songs two heights in a row? I'm surprised.

As is, in most two night runs the only songs likely to be repeated are Alive, Evenflow, Corduroy and sometimes Better Man. Pretty much everything else changes from the night before when they play the same city twice.

Good example of a typical two night run. They don't duplicate a lot songs from night to night. At least not very often.

    Let them decide.

But why not mix up the staples.

Play some Brain of J and Breakerfall some nights instead of Do The Evolution for example.

since they won't be filming the shows (Let's Play Two) I would love to hear totally different sets each night.

I am a song whore, I need me some more songs, the more variety the better.  MMJ and PJ are amazing at crafting unique setlists with little or no repeats.  Whatever they play I trust them to pick something amazing.
