I used TM verified for Elton tickets as well recently. Gift for wife :-).
It worked very similar to a normal tm presale with password. The site was very busy, and I actually lost the first pair of tickets due to a system error. The site was MUCH buggier than normal. I was forced to try again which took awhile, got seats two full sections further away.
TM texted me a link with password that morning, which was a good feature, but the link brought me to a page that did not work. But thankfully the code did once I found the right page!
