It's Ok.. But someone has to say something about Fred Cole's passing..

It's always sad to me when Pearl Jam stays so quiet in the passing of certain musicians..even if everyone reacts different to such events it still feels like something is missing..one of pj's most loved covers,  Dead Moon's (Fred Cole) "It's Ok".  Been waiting for a while but since I haven't seen anything, I might as well at least say something on the Forum.  RIP Fred Cole, your music has influenced the grunge scene and always remained raw and beautiful until the end.

    It sucks.

But it to be fair, PJ can’t comment on everything.
  • Yes, definitely not everything..  And they will probably say something during upcoming live concerts or at least I trust they will..but it would be nice especially for the musicians themselves and their families to be acknowledged and fair-welled publicly by their fellow musicians, especially the ones that are so close to musically and the ones that have used or shared their music with..it's like..not fair in a way the other way around..

Sad to say, Cole's passing did not get a lot of press.  Sorry to see him go.

    R.I.P. Fred Cole.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
