Eddie Street Performer outside of Wrigley??

    I was tipped off with a photo from a friend before sharing this last night on Twitter.  I'm a Cards fan.  He is a Cubs fan and rubbed in how much it sucks I wasn't in Wrigley and that the Cards lost.   I was convinced enough in photo it was him to share it... then found the videos.

    There appears to be a professional video crew to the left as well in one of the instagram videos.  I wonder if this will appear in a broadcast at some point?

    I was at the game and was right across the street from where this video was taken at that time. I'm still saying it's not Ed, but if it was, and I was 50 yards away and missed this...doh!

    Not to sound all stalkery, but when's the last time anyone has seen Ed wear shorts in public? Also I keep trying to get a glimpse to see if this performer has got the tattoo, and I can't get a good angle.

    It would probably be based on what the random drummer knows best. Or Ed probably even asked which song he wanted to play. I doubt Ed walked up and demanded they play a song of his choosing ha

    Not to be a pessimist, but I really don't think that's him. There would be a ton more pics and videos if it was. And some kid performing on the street just happens to know how to play corduroy or has ever even heard that song? Just saw Ed at Ohana fest and he joked how he won't go to the grocery store anymore because he hates being recognized. Don't see him doing something like this.

    Read the caption of Clinch's photo above. If they cover PJ then it isn't that strange he knew it.

    We really don't have 100% confirmation yet  but I do not think it would be much of a stretch that Eddie caught word or even saw the cover band earlier in the day playing some of his songs and thought that he would surprise them with a visit.

    It's definitely possible.  But if I had to bet, I wouldn't think it was him. I also think there would be a lot more footage of him, rather than a short grainy video. Seems like this guy would have kept filming.  Who knows though. Maybe they got the real ED.
