Can't c them splitting days between the Amsterdam shows or London shows??
Why not?  Maybe the band (Ed) wants a day off between shows now.  That's how Fenway/Wrigley were last year, supposedly for weather alternatives, but why not do it for rest?

I think days off between shows in the same city will become more of a norm

The reason not to would be because it's expensive (venue can't be used, have to house and feed the crew, etc.).  For indoor shows, the only reason I can see for them to do it would be if they are considering a third show.

    Just my opinion.

Its very strange indeed in indoor shows. 2 dates are always back to back.

Bruce started taking days off between shows in same city last tour.

Well never see 3 shows in 3 days again... I don't think they've done that in years

Fenway and Wrigley were different because they were not apart of the main tour.  That and they had an opportunity to let the field breathe between shows. I would not use that as an example of what is to come in the future though that may very well be the direction they go to. Having a day off does wonders for Ed's voice but it will also extend the tour which I doubt the band really wants to do.

It's building up... so what do we 'know' for sure? I think Pinkpop, London (2), Italy (3), Berlin (Waldbühne), Krakow, Werchter, Barcelona, Mad Cool and Nos Alive... and maybe Nimes is in there too.
    AMS x2 at the begining?
I doubt they will play Amsterdam too if they play Pinkpop... but who knows.
    they love netherlands
Ha ha, alright... Amsterdam too, but love (1 show in Amsterdam) or really love (2 shows in Amsterdam)?
alot of love ,cos dutch are the coolest people in europe
    I agree 100%

It will, but the bands aren't getting any younger :(  I imagine back to backs get harder and harder to do.  Especially given that PJ sets are 3 hours now.   6 hours+ over 2 nights?  That can't be easy.

Not official site and seems fake to me. There's even typos in some bands names and overall it seems too good to be true. Too many too big names accross all stages.

You are probably right. Got a little bit too exited. Not official page after all and possibly fake. Sorry about that.

    How legit are these dates
Very similar to another rumor list I saw.  Only differs by a day or 2 here or there.  I'm guessing the order of cities is correct.
Did the rumour list you saw have a gap between shows in the same city.

This would screw my plans up quite a bit if true.
    2010: London
2012: Manchester I, Manchester II, Manchester (EV)
    2014: Milan, Leeds, Milton Keynes
    2017: London II (EV)
2018: Amsterdam I, London I, Prague, London II
    2019: London (EV)
2022: London I, London II, Budapest, Krakow, Amsterdam

Consideration for the traveling fan is one of the last things they are thinking of when booking tour dates. If they even think of it at all.

Only one day gap between London and Milan might be too tight for gear to be transported in time.

If those dates are true im at a crossroad :

    Amsterdam - 2 dates
Berlin - 1 date but beautiful place and i already been to ziggo dome
Barcelona - 1 date (if it´s non-festival) Nearest place for me (im from Lisbon) , i never been to barcelona... but as far as im aware there are no low cost flights to barcelona so the flight could be a bit expensive...

    Decisions Decisions...

Not a single Nordic country on the list. What a shame.  :|

Would've been great to get them here in Finland, since it'll be 25 years next summer since their last and only gig in here...

I went to Rock the Beach in Helsinki this year for Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro. It was one of the most unique and best shows I've ever seen. If PJ played there, I'd come back.

the indoor day off thing will make it tough to travel.  i get it they need it, but that makes every trip about 30% more expensive.  another day away from the kids, another day off work... what percentage of an average crowd travels you think?  id say its gotta be 50-50 on average? thyell still sell out their shows so they can do what they want i guess.  we will always complain unless they play 10 shows straight in our home city..

Wait? they are playing London O2 Arena? didn't they say they'll never play that venue again due to smoking on the stage and breaking the curfew. I absolutely hate that arena. Shame it couldn't be Leeds again. I suppose I'll have to do one Ziggo dome and one O2! Better than nowt.
Will it be by ballot again? I just remembered how expensive the tickets were for recent Eddie's solo tour.
