Plugging Brand New's 'Science Fiction'

Slightly younger Pearl Jam fan here (23). I remember listening to Brand New when I was in middle school. Thought they were still a pop punk band until a friend reintroduced me recently. Listened to 'The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me' and 'Daisy'. Man...these guys really grew up with their fans. I had no idea. Anyways, there's such a strong early 90s influence on the sound of their new album that I felt obligated to post about it here (the lead singer supposedly has always listed both Pearl Jam and Nirvana as major influences). Even if you've been totally averse to anything they've done up until this point, I'd definitely give this one a chance. Although you can definitely still hear hints of their older tunes in there, it's still vastly different from anything they've done before.

I'm really looking forward to this. It's been a loooooong time since Daisy! The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me is a fantastic record, there's not one bad song on there
