This sounds awesome but does anyone else think seeing a concert in a movie theater will be weird?
Do you stand or sit?  Will people be singing along?  Will the music be loud enough to drown out the bad singers?  Are there piss break songs?

no sitting and yes to screaming and singing and flailing arms about. stealing seats that are not yours is ok. dancing in the aisles is ok. cameras are allowed for utube clips. and it's ok to spill beer but you still have to go outside for a smoke...

Probably announced on the day the official trailer will be released.

    Teaser 1 August 3rd.
    Teaser 2 August 10th.
    Teaser 3 August 17th?
And then Official Trailer August 25th?

They probably jumped the gun.   I would guess they aren't the only theatre releasing it.  They probably put up the information before they were supposed too.

The PJ camp seems to be struggling with a few leaks (Amazon and Alamo) before getting a chance to announce it themselves.

For me I don't care. I haven't followed the game in a long, long time. Though I did follow the game the day's when the Toronto Blue Jay's won the World Series back to back. I was in Junior High & everyone was going nuts!

    Ah '93. Catch the taste!!!

It will be more than just Drafthouse.  10/3 is the one night only.  Earlier than that for longer runs at other places.

Oh for sure. It won't be exclusive for Drafthouse but they were pretty much the first place to confirm the October 3rd release date.

I'm hoping many Cineplex Theatres across Canada will be caring it.

When PJ20 came out they had the special screening. Then it came out for a wide release on the weekend
