SOLD!!! Benaroya Hall vinyl sealed MINT

edited August 2017 in Lost Dogs
Unfortunately I have to sell my Benaroya Hall vinyl box set. It is sealed and in mint condition with sharp corners and the plastic is completely sealed except where they had to rip it a little to write the number (it is numbered out of 2000).

$1,900 includes overnight shipping and paid as Goods through PayPal. This box set will be double boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure it arrives safely.

Please PM me thanks!

Thanks for the heads up Hobbs but I really am looking for an open one to spin. Maybe if I sell all my other records I would be able to afford this! Thanks again

since an open one sold on ebay 2 weeks ago for $1650, I think a sealed one in perfect condition for $1,900 is in line with the current market, especially since that price includes overnight shipping and the PayPal fees. We shall see.

You might also consider Facebook and one of the many pages dedicated to selling merch. There are a number of 'fans' on there who don't post here and your reach would be greater.

I don't hate the OP. I sold a good chunk of my Pearl Jam vinyl for profit last fall. I get it. I've done it.

That one was actually still sealed plus the seller gives 10% to Ebay so actually got less than $1500.

You could probably make $2000 easily with a waffle on facebook though.

I think the price is a little bit expensive but not too far off

The going rate is kind of crazy.  That being said if you sell on ebay you have to pay points to ebay, so usually if you're selling in the forum you would discount the going rate to compensate for the fact that you're not losing points to ebay (I'm not sure what % ebay charges these days to sell stuff).

I guess these things keep getting bought by collectors which removes them from circulation and makes them even harder to find.    I know I'd never sell mine unless it was an emergency of epic proportions.

The rule is set a reasonable rate. OP did just that. It is higher than recent sales but it's reasonable. Case closed, let him sell his records.

Thank you 2-feign, Zod and Elvistheking!

I am only selling because I need the money and I figured it would cost about $80 to ship overnight express mail and about $60 for PayPal fees and I could really use the $1,700 after the fees and shipping. I am hoping some hardcore collector will see the value in this mint sealed box set and it will be a win-win for both of us.
