Here we will continue evaluating each LP from the Greatest Hits release Rearviewmirror.
We will now move on to the final LP 4 (Sides 7 and 8)
We will get a winner from each LP and those 4 will compete to find the winner.
Wishlist and Last Kiss eliminated in Round 1.
Man of the Hour and Light Years eliminated in Round 2.
Nothing As It Seems and I Am Mine eliminated in Round 3.

Winner for LP 1 = Alive
Winner for LP 2 = Rearviewmirror
Winner for LP 3 = Black

For anyone new to the game:
You are going to pick the song that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 2 days I remove the 1 song with the most votes.
We will then move on to the Final round. - Remember you are voting to eliminate songs from contention.

Have FUN!

I used to like this song so much until I found out later it was a song all about Neil. All I picture now is Neil riding a motor bike in the strongest winds. - not what I first envisioned when I heard this song when it first came out.

I'm feeling a bit disillusioned after the last round.

Vedder said, "The song "Off He Goes" is really about me being a shit friend. I'll show up and everything's great and then all of [a] sudden I'm outta there..."[2] During a Pearl Jam performance on June 16, 2000 in KatowicePoland at Spodek, Vedder said before starting the song that "this is about being friends with an asshole,"[3] and pointed at himself.

Yup, Eddie wrote the song about himself - this has been pretty well-established.

MedozK. You know I love these polls (eagerly await each one; never missed a round). Please don't take this the wrong way but do we really need to eliminate OHG and YLB one at a time?

    Tough choice, of course!

Question for Mr. MK (and anyone else with a thought on this)-- would a weakest-link poll for the annual Christmas single get enough participants to give it a whirl later on?

It'll be interesting to see where all the YL votes go assuming it does in fact get eliminated.

This is the right Last 3 standing, but GTF is untouchable on this whole side. Despite being an iconic guitar riff and song, Yellow Ledbetter is weaker than Off He Goes to me. OHG is one of my "irrational love" songs for sentimental reasons, but it also just feels more... complete isn't the right word, maybe layered? Nuanced? Just more to it.

I can´t vote for (against) YLB, not in this round anyway.
Regardless the lyrics, the song holds a special meaning to me,  maybe because I relate it with the shows I´ve been to, I don´t know.

MK, "Monday, 8/3".  What year is that in?

It's damn near a guitar masterpiece, do you guys realize the finesse that song takes?
There are world famous guitarists that couldn't reproduce that song.

Mariah Carey can hit 8 octaves.  While impressive & talented, it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Are we talking about Yellow Ledbetter?  If so, it's really not that difficult to play.  I can play it fairly close and I'm far from a great guitar player.

YL is just awful. That is all.
Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
