I tried but struck out on these. What an awesome show it would be.

Didn't know about it, would've tried otherwise. Say goodbye to hearing at that venue with that band - QotSA was intense there a few years ago.

It was announced out of the blue around 10:30 am. Tickets went on sale at 11:00. I'm bummed that I struck out but am glad to know the tickets didn't go to a bunch of brokers.

Damn, saw the tweet yesterday and knew that it was about a metro show, didn't know it would be so quick. Missed out on this one, but still seeing them in Madison in November with a GA ticket so no complaints!

Yeah I guess it's worth mentioning that if anyone has a pair and one is unspoken for, PM me. I'd be glad to meet you there and take it off your hands.

Add me to that list, maybe "interesting trades" will be considered.

I tried but no luck. We have Royal Blood aftershow tix that night anyways, so I was conflicted.

Saw Foo at Metro in 2011, great show.

^^ Nice!  I bet it was a great show.  I'd love to see them play at a small venue like that. Hopefully next time...

last time I saw the Foos they were playing in a club about the size of the Metro.

October 2000. I have no desire to see them in any place larger than this.

^^ It was a general question if anyone scored tickets.  Not a FS or ISO that would be in Lost Dogs (I have a separate ISO thread in Lost Dogs).  Is there a more suitable place to ask the question?

While all these Lolla aftershows in these small venues are cool, it sucks that so many bands skip a proper Chicago show when they are playing Lolla and/or an aftershow.  Feel like I've been missing out on way too many good bands lately because I don't go to Lolla.

I have seen that every band that plays Lollapalooza, their contract bars them from playing within 300 miles of Chicago for six months before the festival and three months after it.

Yeah, I've heard that too.  Not sure about the exact mileage and number of days, but it really does suck.  The fest usually sells out of 4 day passes every year before they even announce the lineup so not sure why that is even necessary at this point.
