The Worst Movie Ever?

Mine has to be The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. The most painful 2 hours, or however long, I have spent on a movie. Not one moment in the film was I happy to be watching it.

    So many to choose from.
Superman 4:The Quest for Peace of Jaws 3-D.  Will pick ones from when I was a kid and would actually watch then entire movies, even when they sucked.  Nowadays I will just turn it off.

Going with Superman 4: The Quest For Peace

Wow, that is your worst movie ever?
Great soundtrack alone should elevate it.
Not arguing your choice -- it is your subjective view, just surprised.
(And, in a Pearl Jam kinda related way, one of the movies on my short list for worst ever is Almost Famous.  I hate that bus Tiny Dancer scene more than any single scene I can think of.  Turned it off at that point.)

Tiny Dancer is my 2nd least favorite song of all time.  I despise that scene.
Eh?  Everyone will like/dislike different movies.

Not really my true worst, but probably my true "most overrated".

I didn't see it until I was an adult PJ fan in 2010.
    It hasn't aged well.
Yeah, I get the sentimental attachment, but I was sentimentally attached to Beekman's World when I was young, but that doesn't mean I think it is quality in an objective way.
Singles is in the same boat.

I meant to post before that I could guarantee that someone would name some movies I really like.  (Why these threads are fun.)
I liked all three of those movies.  Not my favorites but ones I like for many different reasons.

Any movie they try to make from a Stephen King book. They fuck it up really every time.

Almost Famous is one of my favorite movies of all-time.

    Worst ever...

I remember Ace Ventura 2 being pretty bad.

We lucked into the projector breaking during the live action Spawn film. We left, it was that bad.

The Phantom Menace deserves to be on any such list. The Jar-Jar/Jake Lloyd combo is almost unwatchable.

Yeah, the worst movie of all-time is going to be a sequel. Some piece of shit the studio rushed out to cash in on.

Which reminds me, Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows is stunningly bad.

Manchester by the Sea was frickin' terrible.   I vote it because it actually tried to be good.  Revenge of the Nerds never intended to be a good movie.

    Showgirls, obviously.
    Eyes Wide Shut
Three movies I walked out of/ turned off:
Robocop II (I don't do graphic violence)
    Man Bites Dog (ditto)
Trainspotting (great soundtrack; killing babies is a no-go for me)

I didn't like this movie either, I really enjoyed the book but I guess it just didn't fit like a movie. It gets too strange.
