I just got back to my hotel from the show. It was an amazing experience -- like we watched Eddie heal during the show. You could hear a pin drop when he sang "Dear God where were you" during Sometimes. And Off He Goes was heartbreaking. At the end of that song, the crowd gave him a standing ovation, and Eddie looked truly touched. After that point it was like seeing the music and the crowd actually raise him up. Masters of War was very emotional too -- so much passion. By the end of the show Eddie was clearly having a great time. I think everyone fortunate to see any of the shows on this tour are going to see the power of music in our lives.
He gave a girl he spotted from the beginning, she was on the shoulders of a parent with ear protection, a ukulele!! as a present
