    Aside from maybe the holiday single it doesn't look like either one is imminent. At least we have the Eddie/Glen tour to follow.

    I was really hoping we would at least hear about an Ed US tour.

    I haven't given up on an EV USA tour leg... Music Midtown still hasn't announced... and I think he will announce only 2-3 months before the tour which means June-July

    stone was recently interviewed saying they are currently writing the new record.

    We all know any legitimate tour has to start on the east coast :wink:

    I agree it would be too early to hear about a 2018 tour right now.  Maybe we'll get lucky and see an Ed solo tour this fall in the U.S. or some new music from Ed.

    I think people need to get used to the fact that this band is in the classic rock realm now and they will record like a lot of these big classic rock acts. New album every 4-6 years. Like U2 or the Stones or whoever.

    Yeah, Bruce and Neil have the luxury of being the driver and songwriter. Their bands are employed by them, so its easier for them to write/record based on their whims. Its more difficult to pull together when the band wants to collaborate, especially after getting older/having achieved peak success.

    Hopefully we get some new tunes and some good YouTube videos shortly.  It will be interesting to see if he breaks out any new stuff.

    They probably write stuff every week on their own.  I didn't take his quote too seriously or even believe it.
