    I'm a sucker for shades.

Got a few pairs, but favourites are my Revos (water related activities) and my Electrics for casual.

Wear Smiths on the golf course and Oakleys when running or mountain biking.

American made, great customer service. Can't go wrong with them!

I wear, as I have for the last 15 years. Oakley Juliette's.

I have metal framed Revos and plastic framed Ray Ban Wayfarer.
Both polarised. I tried polarised lenses 15 years ago and now I can't wear shades without them.

Oakley Enduro going on about 2 years of use. Only complaint is they are a little snug, nothing uncomfortable though.

Some shades I bought at my local grocery store. They work great, are comfortable, have UV protection, have had them a long time and they cost me a whooping 10 bucks!

I have a pair made by Columbia. Polarized. They were $35.
Spending more than that on sunglasses seems like throwing money away to me.

I'm an Oakley fan as well. I have been wearing them for 10 years. Their polarized ones are the only ones that stop me from getting headaches from too much sun in my eyes. I get the square wires.

I got a pair of Timberlands at Costco. Love them! They feel light, barely notice when I wear them but havent broken even when my 2-year-old grabs them, have a unique look to them. Are brown instead of black. Probably favorite sunglasses I ever owned.
Dont have them lsited at Cosstco's website, but here's another link:
    http://www.cochaser.com/blog/tag/costco-timberland-sunglasses/

Picked them up last year, and just saw out Costco restocked them this year for the season.

Also had another one, forget the brand, but was the more traditional sporty style, love those too. Both were only $29 each, couldnt beat that. Here's the other pair.

I alternate between Ray Ban Cockpit and Wayfarer. I've never tried the polarized lenses....may have to give those a shot next time.

Polarized lenses help me a great deal. I'm highly photosensitive so adding the effect of reduced glare keeps my eyes from getting stressed and prevents me from getting headaches. Excellent for driving or if you do anything near water!

Your eye doctor can have tinted lenses put in practically any frame, if you have old glasses or sunglasses that are scuffed up you could go that route and get a high optical quality and a frame that doesn't look like you are trying to cosplay Data from Star Trek.

Most retail sunglass frames are cheap and they look ridiculous, Oakley's being near the top of the list.
Why do they always have to try to make you look like you are trying to be a cool guy??

Anyways, that's always an option and some vision plans will even cover it.

Maui Jim's. Simply the best. Tried all the others and nothing beats my Maui Jim's. Maybe Oakleys for running or golf.
Life is too short to wear cheap sunglasses.

I'd argue that life is too short to spend $300+ on the same plastic that a $10 pair is made of.

Oakley sunglasses. For when you want people to think you're an Autobot.

While some prices for sunglasses are insane, there is a huge difference between some shitty pair for $10-20 and a nice pair of Ray Bans or Maui Jims. But I do kinda feel like an asshole when I drop $150 on a pair of sunglasses.
