I'll acknowledge Riot Act. I'd take Save You, Ghost, I am Mine, Thumbing and Green Disease at any and every live show I could get em. LBC isn't quite my jam, but it still builds to some big moments. Would love to catch that one someday too.

Riot Act has always been my least favorite. But I was listening to my LP the other day and realized I like nearly every song on the first disc, and only about 2 songs on the second. If I stop after the first half I have a much better feel about the album. It has grown on me a lot in the last 15 years.

I was lucky enough to catch LBC twice with the Jumpin Jack Flash tag in 2014. I like the song to begin with, that tag made it even more awesome.

Kind of funny because I love the second half of that record the most. Although, I like the whole album even though I was disappointed in it for the first 5 years. I think it's the last really good sounding production recording. The songs have so much life to them and the sound is deeper than everything since.
It's a hopeless situation...

I can't get the video to play but I'm not at all surprised if they made a mistake. Can't expect a band to play as long and often as these guys and not loose concentration at least once a decade! When I saw them in Missoula they were outstanding. Blows my mind. I mean, I can't play for five minutes without effing up a few notes.

Yeah both LBC and Smile are different to me now. Our fellow jammer Joshua got me loving both of those more. Can't hear those and not think of the Swansons.

You know, sometimes when it's really busy, it all swirls together for me too. We try hard though. How about a sweeter subject line on this special day? The band didn't do it and well, you know. We're all in this together.

People fuck up.
(ahhh, stupid human beings)
If said fuck-ups are ultimately inconsequential? Pffft, I say!
