Rod Resenstein decides if the findings, when released, are to be seen by the American people. With yesterday's interview with WSJ saying that the investigation is independent and appropriate and that the American people will accept its findings, I think that is a huge signal that there is a report coming out after the midterms.  Sixty percent of America did not vote for Trump and there are a lot of people who voted for him who regret it now. And then there is the base who have become emboldened to let the world see just what assholes they really are.

I am hoping that the evidence in Mueller's reports will be enough to not only impeach Trump but to have him be criminally responsible.

We have a horrible human being in charge of this once great nation and all right thinking people need to keep their eyes away from the shiny objects and concentrate on winning elections on all levels, becoming tougher, not becoming vile and remembering that children are in cages in America and a journalist was dismembered while alive - a Washington Post reporter - and Trump doesn't care about caging children or slaughtering American citizens. He doesn't care. And no one is holding him responsible for making America a horrible, craven country.

Children are still in cages and will never see their parents again.

The family of Jamal Hassoggi will never get his body back.

And if we don't remember these things and move onto the next shiny object, we are doomed.
Rosenstein will be fired on November 7.

And Trump should not be allowed to continue to hold his reality show rallies - they are hate filled performance art filled with lies. They should not be allowed to continue under the guise of campaigning.
If it were campaigning I wouldn't have a big issue with it (aside from hate speech, of course). The real problem, besides hate speech or inciting violence, which he has done, is that he's holding all these rallies when he's NOT campaigning. He's just doing it to feed his massive ego and to keep the hate burning.

So? If anyone thinks for a minute that Team Trump Treason’s high crimes and misdemeanors won’t be made public despite Rosenstein’s firing, repubs controlling Congress or the report being “classified,” I’ve got some vegetables to sell to your district’s school lunch program.

People who believe and support hate will always support hate speech.
  • I've just been skimming many of the posts- only stopping to point out the silly, lower level ones like Unsung's who claims 'he hates liars' while tripping over himself to defend McDonald.

Things have gotten a bit more serious for me. Can someone please clarify the following for me:

    1. Did the Saudis dismember an American resident from Virginia while he was still alive... with a bone saw?
    2. Did the Saudis try and cover it up?
    3. Did the Trump administration accept the promises of Saudi rulers to conduct their own investigation into the disappearance (despite Turkish assertions that prominent people in the royal court had ordered his execution)?

    Thanks in advance.

One more question... is McDonald treating this the same way he treats all other damaging accusations against his friends?

In other words... is he trying to discredit the Turkish intel kinda like he did the Ford allegations?

No because US intelligence got out in front of it and he couldn’t. Plus, Turkish intel is feeding the press that they’re able to confirm via US intelligence. Team Trump Treason is isolated in his and Jared Dear Boy’s position for their collusion with putin on the ritz and Team Trump Treason’s condemnation of the military and intelligence agencies. Plus, our allies aren’t sharing as they know it’ll get back to putin on the ritz, Little Rocket Man or MSB. He’s a fucking dolt and everyone knows it except 37% of US voters.

    3. Yes and Team Trump Treason via Pompouso gave the Saudis a few more days to get their story straight.

    Sad.
He was a Saudi with American residency who was engaged with 2 American children.
He was told by the Saudi's that he needed paperwork to make it a legitimate marriage in their eyes.
He wanted to make things right with SA because, although he was a proponent of free speech and against the direction SA has taken, he struggled with loving being a Saudi living in self exile in order to speak truth to power.

SA sent in a cleaning crew to the consulate before Turkey could send in their forensic people.
SA prevented Turkey from going to the consul general's home until last night and after they had brought the consul, his wife, his children and the housekeeper back to SA so there are no witnesses to interview.
There is proof that, besides the major cleaning, they repainted a wall in the consul general's home.

    1. A forensic expert was sent to SA and entered the consulate with a bone saw, even though it is impossible to get a pointy car key into a consulate.
    2. The Saudi's said that he a - left the building then b - got cold feet about marriage and disappeared c - was possibly hurt/killed in an interrogation con wrong d- rogue SA people interrogated and killed him e - still have not given a straight answer except that MBS had nothing to do with it.
    3. Trump and Pompeo tested out the rogue element excuse on the American public.
    4. We knew that SA was planning something ahead of Kashoggi going to Turkey through our intelligence but did not tell him.
    5. Trump has not looked or listened to the tapes that Turkey has yet, though intelligence has.
    6. The tapes purport that he was immediately taken to a room upon entering the consulate and was interrogated, had fingers cut off and beheaded while alive and the forensic expert told the other SA's that listening to music makes dismembering less unpleasant. He turned on music for himself - not known if they did. It appears that his body was taken from the consulate to the consul general's home for the dismemberment and possibly beheading.
    7. Pieces of his body  reportedly have been dumped all over Turkey.
    8. Trump said today (he disappered on the 2nd) that it looks like Kashoggi was killed. Duh.
    9. Nothing is done by SA without MBS's approval. Nothing. And we know this.

The saddest thing about this gruesome incident is that he agreed to go to the consulate because he wanted to marry within SA guidelines, but it was just a ruse.

Trump is covering up with him because of SA's political importance in the MidEast and Jared's affection for MBS. The SA role is complicated and always has been but things have gotten worse since MBS has taken over from the ailing King. We should have denounced this immediately instead of trying to help them cover up such a heinous act done to an American resident on another foreign country's soil.

Everythng Halifax said was correct, I just needed to get all the gruesome details out of my head and express my disbelief at how America has become a place that I do not recognize.

This is his final article for The Washington Post that was posted today. It was sent to them the day before he entered the consulate.

It was published in both Arabic and English as all his articles were.

    Yep I agree

Good point with regards to the allies not 'sharing' intel. This is a certainty.
Didn't think of this but Halifax's point is spot on. Why would anyone hand Trump intelligence. Those last words together are an oxymoron I believe.

Some of that is fair.  The comment on tweeting doesn't matter, unsure why it was included other than the guy just must hate Trump tweeting.

I've just been skimming many of the posts- only stopping to point out the silly, lower level ones like Unsung's who claims 'he hates liars' while tripping over himself to defend McDonald.

    1. They cut off his fingers while he was alive before beheading him.
    2. Guy goes into the consulant and never comes out, Saudis are covering up what happened to him, so yes.
    3. Yes and Team Trump Treason via Pompouso gave the Saudis a few more days to get their story straight.

    Sad.

As a former college basketball player and long time coach... I can tell you that  an expression often said is as follows: the best referees officiate the game in such a way that you can't remember who was officiating at the end of the game.

In other words, they did their job so well that they left unnoticed and the game was not impacted by them (the teams fairly decided the outcome).

A boring president would be a fantastic president.
