"Vedder is awesome. He cares deeply about the performance being great, so the rehearsal is always passionate, with tremendous attention to detail. He loves what he does, and it’s contagious… it also makes people comfortable, because we all love it too. The passion is the thing. The other thing about Vedder is that he’s incredibly kind and generous as a musician; he wants people to bring their own authenticity to a song, while also doing what he thinks it needs. He communicates like a pro, but as a supportive band member as well. He does not have to be that way; he just is. My respect level for the guy has gone through the roof."
Would love it if someone could produce a bootleg of this show. Great night and show poster hanging proudly in the man cave.

Bill has been a participant and organizer of a
benefit concert in Boston since 2001. It is called Hot Stove Cool Music
and was founded in 2000 by Jeff Horrigan, Peter Gammons, Michael
Creamer, and Kay Hanley. When Theo Epstein moved from the Red Sox to the
Cubs, it even started having a Chicago version of the concert. We have
had some special events over these years, featuring such artists as
James Taylor, Dereck Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, Craig Finn, Joe Pernice,
Nada Surf, Lori McKenna, Seth Justman, the Figgs, Smashing Pumpkins,
and on and on. This year in Boston, in addition to Bernie Williams and
John Stirratt of Wilco, we had Eddie Vedder, who also participated in
Chicago last year. Here he is introducing and singing on “Taillights
Fade.” Kind of appropriate for the 25th anniversary of Let Me Come Over,
which we will be releasing this month as a double CD/LP with a newly
mixed live show from London in 1992. We also did “Waiting on a Friend,”
which is on Youtube.
We are excited to start our run of spring shows this weekend in NYC
at a sold out Bowery Ballroom. We will also soon be in Portland, ME; at
the Boston Calling festival; Brussels; Amsterdam; Maastricht; and London
in June. More shows likely in later 2017.
In the meantime, please share with your fellow BT fans that this new
album project is still open for pre-orders and some swag still is
available. We just had a dinner with a pledger and all the Skype guitar
lessons have been completed. We sent out the guitars as well.
The album recording is 99% finished. We will soon have it mixed
(June). Then we will figure out how to get it manufactured and
distributed. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing some
of you!

True.

As expected, Eddie will not be making an appearance since he'll be doing his solo tour.

Not official but from what I've read this looks to be pretty accurate.

when is the last time Eddie played, without pj, a two hour rock show w a backing band?
It's a week later and the DJ on WZLX (our classic rock station here in Boston) was still talking about it a few minutes ago.
