This is the first time I have ever seen this. Scary foreshadowing is an understatement. Thank goodness he didnt follow through on that statement.

It's was crazy up front that night. After a few songs we had to move to the back, my wife was not feeling it up there.

I sure hope not. That night changed the direction of my life. 99 PJ concerts over the next 20 years traveling the world, making the best of friends from distant lands, all the while having the most incredible experiences. It all started with this night, because this band was NOT like every other band, playing the same 90 minute set, giving lip service to their fans, these guys were and still are genuine, and that's why I still love the music and travel to shows to see my friends.

Pretty much why this show won't be a Vault release

Why? Because it was a rough show? They can edit things as the band sees fit.
Randall's 2 is arguably their best show period.

Never trust someone who says a show he/she went to is "the best show period".

The guy's been to 50+ shows... I think he has the credibility to state his opinion.

He did put in the word argueably! Ha! That's what you guys are doing..

I was there, and though it was an amazing night I might argue that Charleston was the tightest played show that tour but not the longest set..

I certainly would not rank anything in that era as their best shows though.. Amazing how subjective all of this is...

Msg night 2 98 is the only show that imo rivals Randall s night 2.

It's funny how we consider the show as the best when we attended the show, in which case we are biased, or there is a great recording, when so many shows don't have great recordings.. Beyond that the song selection doesn't always tell the entire story as well! It is so subjective.. some people are fans of certain drummers, albums, or favorite songs.. who can say what a "best show" is?

For me I kind of look at it as, different era's have different aspects of them that I like, but none have everything..

90-92' raw passion, and energy but only one album.
93-94' my favorite time period for 4/5 of the members. Mike is not at his prime though.
95-98 Mike shows tremendous improvement but Jack changes the dynamic drastically. Some people love it some people feel as though it is a let down from the hard hitting tightness of Dave A.
    98-2017.. you get the point...

For me.. my favorite would be the band from 93-94 with Mike from 95-98 or anytime after 94.. with me choosing the set list! Lol

    See... subjective...hahaha!!
