Def do what you want glad you ain't leaving totally bitter or whatever... but Drop the they never play Seattle stuff man... I've seen them 11 times since 2005 within a few hours drive of Seattle. Paramount 05, gorge 05, van 05, gorge 06 x 2, Seattle 09 x2, ridgefield 09, van 11, Portland 13 (fantastic show that gets overlooked btw), seattle 13... there were 2 more in Spokane and Vancouver but I didn't have the cash.

Man, that Portland 2013 show was fucking awesome.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

That's how I feel. They might not play "Seattle" very often, but when you combine it with Vancouver, there's a show (or shows) to see every couple of years. Many PJ fans have it much worse. For me I count anything under 5 hours driving (after the 90 minute ferry ride) to be manageable.

Being in this club is about the energy felt when the lights go down and the band takes the stage. Its about the friends you make.
The rest is just window dressing. Just curious, what is your number? :)

When the lights go down and the band walks out, is like Christmas morning, when I was a kid! A very special feeling indeed! I hope I get to experience this feeling, at lest a few more times!

I'd sooner let my My Morning Jacket Roll Call elapse before my PJ account.
Only cause MMJ never comes to Vancouver.
At least PJ comes here every now and then.
I really enjoy the people on this forum.
Great expirences so there is that.
Too me that's more than enough.
I have all the singles and most of them suck so that's not why.

I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 PJ shows I attended this year (Pemberton + Wrigley). They're playing these epic 3 hour barn burners. There's no way I cancel while they can still bring the house down :)

After over 20 years as a 10 Club member, I looking into not renewing...don't get me wrong I've had some amazing times and experiences with this band.
I've seen a lot and spent a lot too. I believe successful bands/musicians run their course after the 20 year mark..after that it becomes repetitive.
Before anyone here rushes to judgment (or could care less), realize this-
Let's be honest the xmas singles have sucked for years now (the last 7" that was actually about xmas was 2007)..PJ plays here (Seattle) once every 4-5 years now..(granted each member plays or is seen around the city more so than anywhere else)
the baseball shows in the past year were a slap in the face to their hometown all because EV is from Chicago and know Epstein...
EV's personal political (sometimes drunken) rants onstage and off...and it'll just get worse this year moving forward...gee I wonder why??..
I always appreciated other band's nonchalant approach i.e. Soundgarden, AIC, etc. the music speaks for itself and no real need for always extravagant tours, merch, exclusive vinyl, etc.
Don't get me wrong PJ is not U2..they've always had their own of way doing things. I don't see the difference anymore nor do I really care...and one last thing..
I don't need another PJ tshirt!!...

Talk about complaining for the sake of complaining; talking about the last 7'' that was actually about Xmas being in 2007. There's 52 songs from the Holiday Singles, and only six are about Christmas (Let Me Sleep, Ramblings 2, Don't Believe In Christmas, Someday At Christmas, Santa God, and Jingle Bells).

Plus we all have doubles of the 2015 single now, since thats what Beyoncé gave out to her fan club too!

Rewatch the 1st spider man movie. hands down one of the greatest wet tshirt scenes in the history of cinema
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
