He says he's mailing me my cards. I don't know if those are the ones I sent him which I asked to be returned or the ones he said he was going to send me in trade. Sent me a photo etc let's see if it's just empty. Lol.
Here's the story I got: he is putting together complete sets of 2013 cards to give as his groomsmen gifts in November at his wedding. This is the last set he has to complete. He is paying to have every card professionally graded and putting them in a display he is building himself. It costs about $10 per card to get each one graded, even though these are not quality cards. So I fell for stuff like, my stone bat card is in much better shape and he would love to trade it for the stone bat card he already has which has a small dent in the corner (sent a picture and it was tiny so I didn't care, I'm not a pro grader), with extras to make up for it. I had 8 cards he needed left to complete the set and after my trade he only needed six more or something like that. So two cards I originally didn't want to trade, including stone bat, he talked me into trading by sending me more duplicates he had of stuff I didn't have etc. Then when I told him I would probably ship in a week he said he really was hoping to get them before then because he has a batch ready to be graded etc so I said ok I'll ship over the weekend. Of course he shipped mine right away and he will send tracking info later, forgot the tracking at home and so on. I sent mine sent him a photo of the tracking and that was the last I heard back for days. Took to Facebook, messaged his fiancée (if it's even a real account or just a part of his scam who knows), posted on some stuff he had for sale in the fab groups, continued messaging him and last night he says He's sending my cards today which is interesting since he sent them last Friday, right? RIGHT?! I am dying to see what I get in a few days. This lying mofo.
Good luck to the rest of you who got empty boxes. That post office thief is the biggest crock of shit ever. This guy is very elaborate and has his stories put together. I should have backed away when he started calling me to discuss the trade and tell me what his groomsmen project was, or gotten the hint when he said he'd like to figure out/finalize which cards we are doing tonight because he's going to bed soon, then later said he was an uber driver and wouldn't get home till 2 am (on the same night I believe). Just his level of pushy ness and I need it sooner than that attitude, that ever happens again I'm saying ok we are done here! I don't even collect wrigley cards, I was not seeking out to get more, just thought I was helping him complete his set for his gift. I don't care if I'm two Booms less, I'm not trying to collect them all lol.

I get the level of aggravation with this guy but I would try to keep the comments on the tamer side to avoid having this thread closed. Right now it's a good source of info for people who were scammed and it would suck if it got shut down. And I hope everyone who got scammed is made whole very quickly.

Yes, likely thanks to stuff like making him feel like shit, calling him out on the facebook groups, multiple people filling his messages, messaging his fiancee on facebook and filling her in.... well that was all just me, so I'm sure if he got enough other people doing the same thing then maybe he realized it was really shitty and tried to make up for it. We won't know till we actually get our maybe-not-empty boxes, envelopes, and tubes next week.... like I said, my stuff was small in comparison to the other people in this thread. I am not sure what is up with all this , but just wanted to say I got my poster in perfect condition. Came post marked from TX from Jeremy. I hope everyone else is made whole for the losses.
Ok, I said I'd post when my box came in. Package arrived this afternoon. Got home late. Inside box was the Ten Deluxe Box Set sealed as agreed upon in our original transaction. Had an e-mail from him stating paypal had released the funds to him since item was delivered. I hope everyone else gets their packages soon.
