I listened for a bit but had to shut it off... Dave K was giving one word answers and Rob was leading him with his questions... The whole thing was kind of cringe worthy... So Dave was around for a few weeks and he's supposed to remember anything? Did the interview get better?

Agreed, I thought it was a terrible interview

I agree. Dave didn't seem to interested in being there.

I only listened up to the point Rob pissed me off. I think I made about 14 minutes.

Dave was super awkward from the first moment, however, the little I listened to with the fans he was genuine and enjoyed the calls.

I agree with Ryan and the others above. 100%.
Oh please let it rain today.

    Lol! Exactly

All I could think of was the SNL skit where Chris Farley hosts a talk show:

"Remember when you played on Ten?"

    "Yeah...."

    "That was awesome..."

    YES! that's it.
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.
  • Agreed with most of the comments. I turned it off b/c I was done driving. The one thing I was really interested in knowing is why he left/was replaced from his point of view - did that come up at all later in the show?

He gets into that Tim Bearman-schtick of having a shitty attitude towards fans sometimes. Maybe he's been to close to the 10club for to long.

And the best Rob quote is from the 2016 tour retrospective when he said something like "And you know when they do a tag on Betterman that it's a special show".... like, they tag Betterman 99% of the times...

Just realized I had completely forgotten about Brother (with Lyrics) and how that was a single when Ten was re-issued and played live.
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
  • This is hard to listen to...

Rob is really struggling to get it going.... but nothing comes out of Dave.
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
  • Love the guy from Florida calling. Haha. "Don't worry Dave, Jeff and Mike are really nice guys."
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
  • Rob can't ask an open question to save his own life. And he's no Marc Maron so he can't get a natural conversation going. This is a bit weird.

Only 30 min in but theres a lot of questions that could have been asked - Where would he have wanted to go with a second record if he stuck around, what did he feel about them re-recording Evenflow with Dave A etc.

    Maybe it gets better.
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
  • Cool if they jam with Dave K at the RnR HoF.... but no disrespect but that is such a non-event compared to them jamming with Dave A.
