He just responded to me and said, not official, just rumored.

Quickly backtracking. He probably read an Alternative Nation post
I'm having a convo with him, he asked my thoughts on drumming situation. I said if you got free time, come here and read the threads on it. lol

I guess we can close this thread or merge it with tour rumor thread. Not that I'm a mod, just saying. : )

Cleveland news is not where it is at. I live here and I don't even trust it, let alone the weather forecasting.

Well, he may be half right with tour announcement.

He seemed awfully confident in that statement. Being hopeful - seems like an odd time and place to spread a rumor about something like that. (Being interviewed and such.)

    My optimistic 2 cents anyway.

This is bittersweet if what he says is true. He obviously doesn't know about the 10c rabid fans and the reaction it could cause w/ such news that may or may not be true.
The casual public would not read anything into his statement, around here though it is like dynamite - it preps us all into lottery mode.
This would be nice but kind of sucks we found out via non PJ channels.

Agree. But on the day in age of social media - not surprised we get stuff like this.

The prospect of a new album and a tour is pretty exciting to think about. Seems too good to be true but I'm happy to suspend disbelief a little bit here in January and be optimistic that it might happen.

That's going to be one helluva difficult 10C ticket to score.

Yes... you should all allow your memberships to expire because there will be no tour.

Obviously we're all getting a little desperate around here for some kind of tour announcement so every random person who gives us hope is some sort of seer.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I really don't think PJ would ever do a full stadium tour in the US. Baseball stadiums will only be special events. They've stated in the past that they like the intimacy of arenas and amphitheaters. Hopefully they stick to that size.

If they could fill up the stadiums I think that they would play them in a heartbeat. Maximize revenue and still play shows for thousands of people. Win win even though we all wish we could see them play a club show.

We can disagree. I don't think they have the stage show or desire to play these giant venues.
