Exactly, I don't think any of us expect a new album until end of the year at the earliest. We could see a few shows, but this doesn't make much sense. We shall see if he responds to me.

what the hell.
Not sure if this will make pjs management happy.
Figure we will know one way or the other soon enough. The tour announcement wouldn't necessarily be a shocker, it's that other piece of news that's jaw dropping, if true.

Not sure why people think they have to announce to the world every time they get together to record. They tell us what yhey want to tell us, when they want to tell us
A destination ballpark show once every couple of years is fine. An entire tour of US ballpark/stadium shows... No thanks.

However, a politically charged album could come sooner than later....
So to me, for 2017, a new album makes sense... the wrigley dvd makes sense... and a stadium tour makes sense
And releasing the wrigley dvd the same year you have a larger stadium tour makes even more sense
I buy it
I'm no snob, I'm grateful for every show I have the opportunity to see, and I've seen a good amount. With that being said, The smaller the better. I understand, seeing them in a 17k capacity arena isn't exactly intimate, but as compared to 40 or even 50k plus at a stadium, it is more intimate, & something will be lost IMO.
I'll still go see them, but I won't feel the need to take in more than 1-2 shows per tour.
