1. My best friend bought 3 tickets to the Alpine show on the Binural tour for my birthday and to take his GF. They broke up a couple weeks before the show and she ran with the tickets.
2. Not really in my control, but I found out after the fact that a buddy of mine had extra tickets to the '93 Summerfest show with the legendary Little Wing/Maggot Brain performance. He said he didnt feel like going....Grrr!
3. I know it's not Pearl Jam but still a big music regret. My dad worked Public Safety at Marquette. He asked me if I wanted to go to a concert at the student Union he was working security for and I declined not knowing the band at the time. Ended up being Nirvana!

Just that I had the flu when I went to Missoula 2012. It kind of fucked up my whole trip, and I got some other fans sick (i got sick on my way there, so cancelling and sparing people from it wasn't an option), and I was in the pit for the show, which, while still awesome, had a hint of personal torture involved too. I was lucky I didn't collapse. I really really wish I'd been healthy for that trip/show!
I got sick in Philly for the 2009 shows so I get how you feel. I can look back and see they were great shows but I am fooling myself if I think I enjoyed it a lot.
Not going to Jacksonville 2016. I honestly do not know what I was thinking. I went to Greenville and Columbia, but not Jacksonville... It is only a 2 1/2 hour drive.

Never missed a show that I really wanted to go to and could reasonably afford so I would say it has to be Benaroya vinyl. If I remember that was $50 and that seemed a lot for vinyl kicking myself now

#1 top regret: not joining 10C in 1991 because I thought the name "Ten Club" was silly...ugh. #2: not convincing my parents to let me go to the 92 Lolla show at Jones Beach (a 7th grade classmate invited me). Eddie's antics during Porch from that show are just absolutely insane: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me4hA3unxxs #3: only getting tickets to one of the two 98 MSG shows...guess which one I missed. #4: missing both Randall's Island shows. #5: letting my membership lapse after finally joining in the late nineties (only to join again in 2010 - but luck would have it that I won the lottery first show back and had 2nd row at MSG. Drank some wine and made it into PJ20!).
There are a few more, but way less material than these 5. I think about each of them all of the time, but you know what, they are part of what drives me now. So fortunate to be part of this awesome world. Nice thread!
