No Code's quiet, introspective Sometimes smacks you right up side the head with Hail, Hail. Love it.
  • Faithfull
I voted for Faithful for studio albums. Of all their releases though, Sad wins.

I can't believe Hail, Hail is ahead in this right now! I love that song but had to go with Faithful. Save You was 3rd for me. Love how you can hear that crunching guitar line starting if you crank the end of Can't Keep all the way up.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I'll never forget hearing Animal for the first time on the VMAs and watching it over and over. Then waiting in line for midnight purchase of 5 against....er, Vs., having Go just gut punch you right out of the box and right into Animal. Even knowing what was coming from having watched over and over, hearing it so crisp and clear for first time is something I haven't forgotten. Much love for Hail, Hail, Faithful, and Got Some, but for someone on board since Ten, Animal will always be my favorite #2.

Animal is probably in my top three, I have always enjoyed it and it's my favourite off of Versus. There are many other great track 2's but I have always had a soft spot for this one.

Faithfull for me. Beats out Hail, hail by a hair. God's Dice is definitely an underrated one, too.

I love seeing all the non-Evenflow votes cast here. It's an okay song, but I think it's vastly overrated. Yeah Mike rip the solo live, but it just has lost its luster.
If I were tracking Ten today, Evenflow would be the first to go.

Technically it has to be Even Flow or Animal, but you guys are letting your emotions get the best of you ;)

I really wanted to vote for Even Flow, but over play has reduced it's significance amongst long time fans. It's probably their most important and recognizable number 2 song, but no longer the favorite.

I think of Even Flow as a "#10-in-the-setlist" song.

(I love the songs on Ten but almost never listen to the album).

This is true. Evenflow is one of their best songs ever. They need to start playing this less frequently for us to appreciate it again.

Not so sure about that. Who doesn't look forward to hearing the blistering guitar each and every time of the EF solo live?

Yes indeed. I'm sure this could be said about a lot of great tunes. Given the amount of variation in their setlists, some of the war hoeses could use a bit more rotating. They've done a good job with this of late with some songs like Daughter and Small Town or Given To Fly and RVM. Alterating songs like Corduroy and Evolution, Black and Better Man , or Even Flow and Porch would be interesting.

Of course, this idea is intended more for the frequent pairs of shows they've been doing of late and from someone who listens to way too many bootlegs.

Well I think it's for the worse.
No one wants fans like that around standing like zombies because they've heard Mikes solos too many times.
    Unreal.

I'm one of those people. It's not an elitist thing or having heard it too many times, I've played guitar for nearly 20 years, so I appreciate the solos from Mike. Simply put, I just have never felt any sort of connection to Evenflow.
