    The whole thing is so terrible. The interesting part is that both Flynn and Sessions would have legitimate reasons to be communicating with the Russian officials. They didn't have to lie. Yet they did. So why would they do that?

    Right but they could have de-escalated the whole situation from the start without anyone realizing what was/did happen. Krauthammer last night said "it's a cover up in search of a crime". Now I don't believe there isn't a crime, but you get my drift. The whole thing could have been avoided.
