    It was my Mom's phone - Sprint network and I believe 16 GBs. Might be 32. I'll double check when I get home. Not trying to make any points. If we can sell other stuff, I'm going to give it a go.

    Phones are carrier specific because of the difference in hardware for cdma vs. gsm phones. But even when two carriers use the same system like sprint and Verizon the phones won't work for the other carrier because the ESN for the phone must be in the carriers database.

    I have an iPhone 4, not 4s, that I bought new in 2014 (yes, years after they were discontinued) and it still works. I never updated the operating system so the charge is still decent. It's super vintage by today's smart phone standards! Can't use it for any new apps. Wish I could get Uber etc... but it does a fine job on basic crap.
