Stone's best guitar solo in your opinion!

"Yes, You Are" from Brad is probably one of my favorite studio solo's he's ever done.

Live? There is a solo during "Not For You" he played at a Canadian date (can't remember which one) where he just goes OFF. Gotta track that down and re-post it.

DTE solo on live on 2 legs/vault 6 is the coolest PJ solo to me still. Captured the rawness of the song perfectly.

I wholeheartedly agree with lotsalemon above. Here's another angle for it (and just the solo part)

I've always thought Stone's lead work has been under appreciated.

The Canadian shows I'm thinking of were 2011. One performance of Not For You where he jams much longer than usual.

There have a been a couple of DTE solos over the years where he adds in a little extra dissonance or raunch. Those ones always get me pumped.
Also he's been kicking ass on RITFW solos the last couple years.
Brain of J = best studio solo.
I've been an amateur songwriter/guitarist for 25 damn years now, and Stone, more then any other guy in PJ or otherwise, is the guy that kickstarted it. I think he's reinvested in the last 5-7 years, and i like it, but i would still love to see more of his work on the next album. Watch the TOTD clips. Those MLB riffs are still fantastic.

    cheers

And can we just once in the 21st century get a band portrait with Stone up front... We all know it's HIS band!
