The question is is he officially a member of TOTD?

    I don't think Boom's style works with the TOTD songs.... they are more piano and sweet tones.... He sounded very off style wise and not in key, on All Night Thing at PJ20.. The audience recording is almost unlistenable, and then on the soundboard they chose to edit him out. lol....Over all I don't have a problem with Boom, some of the songs with PJ I think he is a great addition! I think a guy like Brendan O would have been honored to do this if asked probably, and would have been a great fit, and there are soooo many musicians they know...

    Maybe he'll be singing Ed's part on Hunger Strike too.

    Given that Eds been seen playing keys on comfortably numb I was secretly hoping he'd been practicing and was going to shock us all and play piano himself. Then sing hunger strike while he's there

    Nice, why not?

    I gave up on hoping for Eddie once the opener was announced.

    This way I won't be disappointed when he doesn't show.

    (If he ever DID show up though, it would be a great surprise, but I'm not worried about it.)

    I would think EV will show up at all shows. He has been popping up a bunch of places over the years for a song here and there. I would think he would show to a handful of shows, featuring his band mates and good friend, including a song he guest vocalled on. It's right to temper expectations, and I could see everyone involved wanting to keep it unknown if he shows. The shows sold out anyway.
