Tough loss but a marvelous series, Cleveland. Well done.

Well done by Cleveland, just came up a little short. Baseball is a game of bloops and blasts....hope Cleveland can get over the hill soon.

Well the Indians gave it all they had but came up short....your WS victory will come. All these winless championship streaks ALL come to an end I know I'm a Red Sox fan. I was rooting for this team and your team will be back...... CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CUBS!

Walking Rizzo and letting Zobrist bat was a rare flub to me with Francona...beat Rizzo up inside, make him beat you dont give up a base in that situation

anyway Indians fought hard to come back in that game twice...hell of a game 7...couple pieces away from going back next year

This made me think about how to look at the Cubs now. I mean, yes, they are now the world champions but what about their endearing lovable losers status? I remember what a thrill it was when the Red Sox won in 2004, and they've had 2 championships since, so we don't even think of them in that "will-the-streak-ever-end" way anymore. No more wondering about "maybe next year" for the Cubs. They deserve all the kudos for their hard fought series but do we forget about the streak now? Just asking, it seems like there will be a new perspective about the team. Congrats to the Cubs, it was a great series.

I felt a Cubs championship was coming soon just didnt think it was going to be this year. They were the best team in baseball with the best exo in Theo who has now broken losing streaks of the Sox and now the the Cubs. He's the man that can put together a winning team and the lovable Cubs like the Sox will go on to win a few more championships. The Cubs just better NOT win it against the the Red Sox.

Tim Lincecum isnot even on a big league club anymore, is he?

Are you talking about The Freak? The Franchise? The Freaky Franchise? Maybe you're referring to Big Time Timmy Jim.

He is a dependable/consistent Napoli who wont strike out as much. Napoli likely wasnt going to match his 2016 production. At the least, Encarnacion should come close.

Outfield is looking a little worrisome. Really need Brantley to be able to roll

that was the one game bounces (like Almonte's flub slide in left) and calls were going against them (some balls and strikes and JRam's stolen base).  I thought it was going to end.
