Wrong team, but the logos are alike.
I think, outside of the core, the Indians are the sentimental favorite....they don't feature a domestic abuser or a "divorced my wife when she got breast cancer" guy
I was referring to the Braves; they're nicknamed "America's Team."

Wob, I think that the Cubs are the sentimental favorite. I work with people from all over the country and almost everyone I know is rooting for the Cubs.

Ahh yeah, didn't even think about the C. Yes, when I grew up (equidistant from Pittsburgh and Baltimore), you were either a Cubs or Braves fan because you only saw them on tv. Local stations didn't show O's or Bucs games.

Yeah, that was a good one: getting thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double when you're down by a Touchdown.

Are you saying the Indians are YOUR sentimental favorites or that nationally they are sentimental favorites? Because the latter is absurd.

I have to say though.... win or lose, I have loved this season, and this team has completely given me joy in baseball that I haven't experienced since my childhood. Not just the success, although it is a necessary component.

Being a Red Sox fan this has to be beyond torturous to the Indians and Cubs fans. This seems worse than what I went through in 1986, I almost had a heart attack.
