20 years ago TODAY...
Pearl Jam kicked off their No Code tour with a hometown show at Key Arena in Seattle!!
Still my FAVORITE PJ album and pretty close to being at the top of my all-time best album list.

I still remember feeling lucky when I finally scored tickets for my first Pearl Jam show...
this was during their battle with Ticketmaster and it wasn't very easy to get tickets.
I loved the special theme on the tickets and was surprised that they printed our names on them!!

Long Road opened this show,
my first live PJ song...
and I wouldn't hear it again until the Hampton show this year!!
Hearing Hail Hail, Who You Are, In My Tree and Habit was really special,
and getting to see Stone sing Mankind that night makes me smile to this day!!
There were quite a few technical issues with the show,
I think Ed even blamed Microsoft for all the glitches...
but I still have GREAT memories of this show and we got an amazing poster too!!

I've been fortunate to see the band many times since that night 20 years ago...
Wrigley #2 was my 30th show.
I've also been lucky to have met some of the BEST friends anyone could have through our shared love for the band.
Sometimes it still feels like it was just yesterday that I started my Pearl Jam journey with Long Road,
and I'm happy to say that I'm definitely getting something out of this all-encompassing trip!!

Dang, now that would have been a night to remember. Dying to hear an official release from the 96' cycle.
