PEARL JAM FANTASY FOOTBALL (POSTER LEAGUE)

Hey everyone

We're looking for either 1 or 2 people to join our fantasy football league this year. We did this last year and it went really well and was a lot of fun!

People either put up $30 or a Pearl Jam poster of their choosing as their league dues. Winners got the pick of the litter. I think fun was had by all, but need some fresh faces in the league this year.

If you're interested let me know, I'm finalizing teams and hopefully having draft tomorrow.

    you ever done fantasy football before?

    12 people, everyone puts up either 1 poster or $30 or equivalent value in some sort of PJ merch. We consider these "units" (1 poster = $30 = 1 unit)

    Play the season out.

    1st place - 8 or 9 units of their choosing (don't remember)
    2nd place - 2 or 3 units of their choosinng of remaining pool (don't remember)
    3rd place - 1 unit left

    we all agree to let everyone know at the beginning of the season what we'll put up, but it's not mandatory.

    Ok great, my comment wasn't meant to be pointed at you directly. Just more in general about the lackadaisical approach the league seems to have in settiling up.

    What was your team name in the league? We can get a thread going there as well.

    I'm pretty sure that everyone that entered, and promised a poster, or a payment, will pay up. What I think we really need, is for the person in charge of this thing to get together with everyone involved, and find out what they were offering for their entry fee, and put it all together in one list so that the winner can get his stuff, and then get that info out to the rest of us. And, the fee for people not submitting a poster needs to be at least $35, since that is what PJ posters cost from this site.

    I'm getting all the messages from the League from Yahoo, but I think we need to do this on the forum so it can be seen by the other people here. That way everything can be noted for any other seasons, if this works out the way the other Fantasy leagues work out on this forum.

    hey everyone, apologies. the yahoo messages weren't going to my normal e-mail so they were getting lost.

    Just FYI last year we did that you could either put up a poster OR $30. I think this is still fair, and what some people may have been expecting previously. To up it to $35, $40, $45, etc. would not be fair in my opinion, especially after the fact.

    I will keep everyone posted on people who have not put their poster choice in this thread.
