Please Release TOTD Bootlegs!

OnWis97OnWis97 St. Paul, MN Posts: 4,822
I love that TOTD is touring, but given the number and location of shows, very few of us who'd like to go can. Any way they release official bootlegs of this show? I hope so; it's as close (well except for PJ 20) as I'll get.

I hope so. Especially in 24Bit Flac HD.

Would be pretty cool if they released a custom CD Box set of all the 5 shows plus a Blu-ray video compilation from the experience this November.

    Crossing fingers.

Yes. The limited dates & cities made it extremely difficult to catch one of these shows. Please release something.

Box set & blu-Ray would be fantastic!

However, we're still waiting on boots & blu-rays for PJ20, 3 Wrigley shows, & some LB tour blu-rays. So, who knows.

I don't want a copy of the Wrigley 2013 on bootleg. The rain delay killed the momentum and energy of that show.

Yes, please release both San Francisco shows on bootleg so I can listen to them. It would make for a fun day.

My guess is they'll release a 'best of' compilation record, like a Live on 2 Legs album. As for each individual show, I would like them to release digital downloads, but with each show being more or less the same, it doesn't make much sense to make hard copies of each. I mean, I'd like to have a copy of the show I went to, but that would be it. If I hadn't been to any and wanted to choose one, I'm not sure I'd spend the money to buy MSG and LA 2, just for the difference of a few songs.

Barring anything major in the last two shows, they could do a double cd and get one version of every song played on the two discs.

I agree with the above that given the setlists, they are unlikely to release hard copies of each show.

I'd prefer they just pick one show and release it; I prefer listening to full shows much more than live compilations.

Here's an idea: Release one show and then have a bonus compilation of songs not played at that show.

Led Zeppelin's record label have been going loco with disabling all the audio tracks up on YouTube on TOTD's Achilles Last Stand cover.

I saw that the other day, you can watch the video w/ no audio! I never knew how strict they were about the rights.

I hope they release at least one live album if not all the shows, even if they have to leave certain covers out.

I remember in the days following the Zeppelin reunion show how quickly videos would be taken down from YouTube (for the most part I was content to wait for the official release which did come...eventually, lol).

I'm hopeful the Zep boys will allow a release of Achilles, having just listened to a blazing version of No Quarter on Tuatara's recent live album. I've only heard an audience recording of Achilles from the first night of the tour, but it's a damn great rendition of the song. If quality of the performance is Zeppelin's criteria, then the standard's definitely been met in my opinion, lol.

I've been looking everyday since 11/22. Hopefully something turns up. I thought the guy who taped Night 1 was going to tape Night 2 as well, but maybe the recording had issues.

As far as I know Both Tapers for night 1 did not have tickets for night 2. I spoke with one of them around 8:15pm and let them know about orchestra seats made available at the venue at not to crazy of a price, and they couldn't make it back in time to get the recording gear and to the venue.. Such a small venue with so many friends and family... Not too many tapers....

Hopefully something will pop up, but I am skeptical... Best show of the 5 nights I saw of this tour!
