Serious question about cereal

Here's a serious question about cereal for you all. And please, be honest.

Do you find yourself once in a while (or even regularly) eating a bowl of cereal late in the evening or at night? And if so what kind? Something fairly healthy like granola or one of those semi healthy kinds brands like Barbara's or Cascadian Farms or just good old Sugar Pops or Captain Crunch or what?

Now come on, this is a serious question. No fooling around here.

That's the only time I eat cereal these days. One of the best cures for the munchies, kill a box to myself over the course of a month, lol. My teeth hate me, but it's sugar cereal. Always sugar cereal.

Now to go get a bowl of Trix, and I haven't even smoked today (thanks, brianlux, lol).

Lol, sorry, no crackers, just sugar cereals and Doritos as snacks (and the occasional jerky), lol.

Glad I'm almost done the Trix, I am actually craving some Alpha Bits at the moment, lol.

It's usually cereal for me too but if I spy an abandoned box of crackers, look out!

I'm trying to lay off the more sugary cereals. At this point in life, diabetes is easier to set it. Don't need that!

I always eat cereal at night, between 10pm and midnight! I decided I needed to eat a healthier cereal this year though and switched to muesli (no added sugar, only completely natural ingredients). It's so bloody addictive though

I stopped eating cereal for a while after a friend referred to it as "People Kibble" and had oatmeal instead. But then the hot weather returned. I'm hooked on cereal.

Must be nice! To eat what you want when you want  - I stopped cereal when I was prego with my first - had no idea too much is not good when prego cuz of the carbs - you don't want your sugar off the charts Lmao I had no idea for like a week I was eating that special k cereal with the strawberries in it haha then went for a sugar test and was border line haha oops.

Anyways I would go for a sugar cereal or like a special k or ooo that umm honey bunches of oats or anything with almonds ha.

I haven't had cereal in a long time :flushed:

haven't had just a bowl of cereal in forever or so it seems. as of late it'd be cheerios w/ strawberry yogurt, blueberries & a banana. what kicks ass is captn crunch, cinnamon toast crunch or frosted mini wheats. haven't ate those in years. cereal for supper kicks ass mostly because there is nearly no dishes to wash other than a bowl or bowls & a spoon or spoons. i like that

cereal & peanut butter toast was a hit back in the day

Good choice! Good for you too (though I use vanilla almond milk not cream).

If that gets brought back I will eat cereal again.
Cereal at night is good when you don't feel like drinking that night because you went too hard the night before.

    brian,

on that oatmeal topic here goes a quick story. a guy i know has a couple 18 wheelers & he was wanting me to operate one running around alaska & back down here for him. on my first & only tour of alaska he told me he'd pay for all my meals as we teamed up in his truck. every morning i had oatmeal, scrambled eggs & ham or bacon. simple. turns out my breakfasts were more expensive than his & his pal, "the arctic squirrel" (as i called him).

    anyways... -40f/-40c
    0 degrees fahrenheit is -17celsius
bowl of hot oatmeal, eggs, ham & coffee sure is a good way to start the day

(if there isn't one, we may need a celsius - fahrenheit thread)

Or the US could pull it's head of it ass and convert to Celsius like the rest of the civilized world. Or you fuckers can just learn to math. At least that's what I tell all my US friends when they whine about not knowing "what that is in Fahrenheit".

What strikes me is "learn to math". What does that even mean?

I'm doing ok in terms of comprehending the different ways temps are measured.

The U.S. began to convert to the metric system (remember the highway signs that gave both miles and kilometers?) but then the whole thing was retracted during the (I believe it was) Reagan administration. It makes sense since base 10 is simplest and really much easier. When the weather hits freezing, what could make more sense than... 0 degrees!

Measuring is especially a pain in the butt. 12 inches? Three feet to a yard? 5,280 feet in a mile? Crazy!

The only catch is (as far as I can figure) we can't really have a base 10 calendar. 365.256 days to circle the sun? Tell me the Planet doesn't have a twisted sense of humor!

I don't drink beer because of the yeast so for me the semi-bulging belly (not too bad... yet) is either the cereal or age.
