Does anyone know if the floor is flat or raised? I have a ticket in Row B and then one in the balcony. Trying to figure out if I'd be able to see on the floor since I'm pretty short or if I should let my brother have the floor seat (he's 6'3").

So, just a thought, but I noticed on Stubhub that there are no tickets available in the "pit" area...
What are the chances that the pit tickets are the 10Club tickets - which is why no one has any to sell??? I am hoping for a great surprise the day...

    Is there a pit there?
Not a GA pit - but they generally have 4 or 5 rows of packed in seating right up front - triple letter rows
Cool. I'm Orchestra Left, Row EE. Any good?
Yes - those will be outstanding seats - about 9-10 rows from stage - it is a great small venue, but you will be close
Awesome! That is great news, and I need some considering....are you ready for this.....I gifted a pair of seats to the MSG show to a long-time friend and I just saw them on StubHub.
Sounds like that long-time friend just burned a bridge very very quickly.
    They are dead to me.

I see nothing on the ticket, and plan to inquire w/ the theater, but figured I would check here first.

Just a reminder...SEPTA is on strike as of today. For those of you from out of town who are staying in the city there will be no buses, trolleys or subway running! Make alternate plans to get to the show if the strike is not settled by Friday. I guess Uber, Lyft and taxis' will be your best bet and the trains are still running so that helps. Traffic, especially on Friday should be extra heavy. Good Luck everyone!

So if i'm staying in the city there will be no subway to Darby? When you say the trains are still running, what does that mean?

Thank for the heads up too.

    Agreed, good to know.

I'm staying in Manayunk, so Uber is my plan of attack.

By trains I mean surface passenger trains(regional rail lines) will still be running, the subway trains will not be running. I'm not sure if there is a rail station close to the Tower. Hopefully someone who takes public trans. more than I do will be able to give more info on possible alternatives to get to the show. Sorry I'm not much help.

No worries, if we have to Uber it then that's fine. Appreciate the information, had no clue about the strike so now we can at least plan ahead.

There's a parking garage near by also, correct? A friend of mine mentioned that people tailgate concerts there. Not sure how true that is, but it may be a good time.

The only way to get to the hub at 69th street from center city is via the Market Frankford Line, bus, or trolley and all of those are shut down because of the strike. The regional rails are still operational but those get you from the suburbs into center city and none of those stops are within walking distance to the Tower so your better off just taking an Uber if you are coming from center city or the airport.

If you are staying in the western suburbs (or Manayunk) the Norristown High Speed Line may be your best bet to get there. It runs north south from Norristown to Upper Darby so if you're staying somewhere between those towns you might be in luck. Schedule and Map below for your reference (just click reverse trip on the maps to see the times for the other direction): http://www.septa.org/maps/transit/pdf/nhsl.pdf http://www.septa.org/schedules/transit/w/NHSL_1.htm (FRI) http://www.septa.org/schedules/transit/s/NHSL_1.htm (SAT)

They may settle the strike before the weekend though so just check Friday before the show. There is a parking garage right next to the Tower but that generally fills up first. If you keep going up 69th street away from the Tower I know there is another big lot on your right that's not too far from the venue. Definitely lock your car doors and keep an eye out on your walk wherever you park.

Yes, there's a parking garage around the corner. Usually about $10 to park. Sometimes you can find free parking on the side streets, too, though. Depending on how early you get there, etc.
