Ha, yeah, that's the thing. We can track it that way... but there isn't any point, since it still simply says it's en route to the destination country. People in Europe are getting theirs now, so god knows what the problem is with the Canada delivery. I suppose customs delays. Irritating. The whole shipping industry is fucked up. It's the only industry I can think of where, despite us paying large amounts of money for a particular service, there is basically zero responsibility taken at any point by anyone unless the package actually disappears altogether.

Of the Earth is one of the best things PJ has ever put on tape.

Another reminder of how important Matt is to the band and that as great as they were from 91-96, they're light years ahead musically since Binaural.

Interesting perspective. I agree that Binaural, Riot Act, and S/T are amazing.... they really fell off after that though, IMO, so I'm not sure what to make of their musical direction since 2007.
OTE one of the best songs PJ ever made? Ya think?? Or do you just mean the TMR performance with JW?
I don't think OTE is in the top 25% of PJ songs, but I think this particular cut, with Jack, is in the top 2% of live cuts I've ever heard from them. It's so Zeppelin-esque... Reminds me of a live version of Achille's Last Stand or something.

My invoice shows $41.80 CDN owing :( Really, that's pretty awful - over half the cost of the item itself in fees.

It's the brokerage fee. Couriers charge a fee to assess the taxes owed. In this case the amount of taxes owing is probably small compared to the brokerage being charged. My experience is very different than PJ_Soul. Couriers have a vested interest to check/assess every package because they make a mint off the brokerage fees. By the book the limit is $20 for Canada (or $60 if the shipper marked the customs declaration as a gift). Canada Post lets its slide all the time (I never see the bother charging for packages under $100), but couriers nail you every time. It's why I try to avoid using couriers for international packages at all costs. They have a financial interest in checking and making sure taxes are remitted on every package.

UPS is even worse. I've been charged more taxes than the value of a package before. USPS to Canada Post is the only decent way to ship from the US to Canada.

Can't climb to heaven on the cross
One lie is promised drained the blood from my heart
Came a message in the dark
Offered the hand of a disembodied man
While I still had the chance

    But now it's gone, gone.
And I am who I am
Who I was. I will never be again
    Running out of sand

I stare at my reflection to the bone
Blurred eyes look back at me. Full of blame and sympathy
    So, so close
Right roads not taken. Futures forsaken
Dropped liked a fossil or stone

    But now it's gone, gone.
And I am who I am
Who I was. I will never come again
    Running out of sand

A drunk octopus wants to fight
Fearful of dreams, there'll be no sleep tonight
Fine at dinner, dead by dessert
Victims of witness, we're gonna get hurt
A fragile existence with echoes of worth
I can't stop the bleeding nor the tears from thine eyes
There's another us somewhere with much better lives
With God as our witness but he won't testify.

    Now it's gone..gone
And I am, who I am
Who I was. I'll never have he chance

The Vaults usually stick to a regular schedule. I wouldn't expect it earlier. I mean, anything's possible, but it's never happened since I've been paying attention, so there is no reason to think differently for this one.

Anybody international know if these are shipped with duty paid already or if we'll get dinged when they arrive? Deciding whether to self clear or not.
    Thanks

You get dinged. I joined earlier this year (from Vancouver) and have to pay about $20,CAD per order
What, really? I have never ever paid duty on a TMR Vault. Plus the cost of this one was only $45 USD. You shouldn't be paying duty on stuff under $50.
It's actually $20 and Canadian not US. I think in the past they were sent USPS this time its Fedex and theres a 99% chance youll get dinged by them.
No, I meant the item is under $50 USD in value. I have never been charged duty for items that cost under $50 no matter who the courier has been, but we shall see I guess.
My invoice shows $41.80 CDN owing :( Really, that's pretty awful - over half the cost of the item itself in fees.

That's crazy....and pretty arbitrary. I am also in Canada and wasn't charged any additional fee.

Lol, yeah, what even happens if you do that? Or are there actually grooves on side B of this thing but no sound? Usually a blank side is just smooth, no grooves (in my experience anyway), and I don't know what the stylus would do. Just skid immediately to the centre? Or just sit there where you put it down?

I'm just noticing this but is it intentionally a face on the cover? Or am I imagining things? If you look at the left gold dust area i totally see a mans face. If I'm last on this I'll also apologize now haha
