Sorry if this thread is already somewhere else. Just curious as to who your favorite poster artist is, why you like their style, and which poster(s) is/are your personal favorite(s)?

Munk One is always my favorite. Followed by BK. They just always have awesome ideas and overall concepts. I love my Pittsburgh '13 the best of any poster ever made. Honorable mentions to Adelaide '09, Atlanta '12, and Charlotte '13.

Just complained on another thread how they didn't do one yet this year..

Agree about Monk One and BK. Throw in Emek for my holy triumphant! Kevin Shuss also did a hell of a job on his one poster.

Agreed with Munk One and Klausen. Also partial to some of my Ames prints as well.

BK for sure. However Mark 5 has done some pretty amazing stuff for EV solo, so I think I'd give him the #2 spot. His Toronto this year was amazing too.

Klausen is the star for me, love pretty much everything he does and one day he will do a poster for a show I was at. Until then I just keep buying the beautiful art he puts out with a twinge of poster guilt. Munk One and N8vandyke are great artists as well.

The Atlanta 2012 they did together is one beautiful piece of work.

Great to see someone mention DKNG.. love their work. Also a huge fan of Todd Slater. But of the usual PJ artist I really enjoy Munk, BK's and Mark 5's work. I also like Emek, I'm not as big a fan boy of Sperry and Welker.. But I do appreciate their work.

I love the detail and complex symbolism and detail of EMEK (like say Unnatural resources, or cyberman), love the movement and linear aspects in Klausen's work(Love that huge RMDM set and his ocean prints), Munk's subject matter and color, his prints really pop out at you usually (like PJ20 BB), Ames...well the generally more simple and visually efficient old day designs, (the past 7 years or so have been a decrease in quality). There are others, but these would be the main people. I would love to see two guys do a print

    Dan Grzeca and Daniel Danger

Both are totally unique and not typical of a PJ print.

Daniel Danger has become my favorite I think

Would love to see Grzeca do a Wrigley print as a Chicago Artist

Slater, BK, and Ken Taylor. Not a fan of most Sperry's but the Miami one was a homerun for me.
