I'll take Vs. over ten any day. Ive heard all the 10 songs numerous times. Just my opinion. Greenville was epic
Understood but to me it's irrelevant. You've never heard them in sequence with a crowd like philly 2.

True, I have never heard a crowd in Philly either, would love to. But I think one of the cool things about the Ville was it seemed the crowd consisted of a lot more travelers than locals. My point being, I think there were less casual fans which made the experience that much better.

I was at Greenville and Philly 2 and despite for @northerndragon says in my mind they were a tie.
Greenville had just as much crowd energy as Philly just on a smaller scale. Vs is a better record than Ten so I enjoyed them playing these songs more. "Throw Your Hatred Down" and the whole banner unveiling was hard to beat though. Greenville boot does a better job of capturing the crowd energy.

PS. ND just ranked Greenville lower because she is jealous that she wasn't there to see her fave PJ album live. .

I've seen them all over the United States, pretty sure I've seen some epic crowds and shows. Greenville was definitely one of them:) sure philly was also, just saying Ten would not be in the top 5 of albums I would want to hear live, regardless of order. I would have loved to have been able to see No Code, Binaural and Yield before 10. More rare tracks. Just my opinion of course.

Yea I did all of them except Jazz Fest. Those shows were similar I think. Greenville was probably more of a mindfuck and had more shock value. Were you at the second Philadelphia show?

Damn, u made the whole tour? Damn I'm jealous! I thought I was lucky getting my wife to agree to 2-4 shows a tour, haha. Then I will definitely take your word for it. I'm definitely buying the Philly 2 boot as I've heard nothing but good things about that show. I'm really interested in Toronto though. Seeing Binauraul would have been epic for me. Lots of rarities.
You're lucky! Yea my days are becoming numbered where I can still do something like that . Was a one time thing, back to reality now. But you just had a feeling that this had a chance to be a special tour not really touring to support an album. Especially when Help, Help was the 5th song to start the tour. That kind of helped validate the assumption. It's hard for me to compare all the shows because it kind of felt like one big show. The Florida and Canada bookends were real strong. Quebec had an incredible setlist. But the whole thing did feel like a build up to Binaural. That was my holy grail show and I don't know how they can top that personally. Still can't believe they did it. It was a lot of fun being on the road for 8000 miles. Met so many cool people. What an awesome community!
This is amazing, and I'm jealous.Good for you! I was lucky enough to see 4 shows in '13. That will probably be about the max I would be able to do (I'm not complaining mind you, but I would love to do a whole tour)

RE: Philly night 2....... that was something special. Of the shows I've been to, it's a close second to Hartford '13.

As if hearing 10 wasn't enough, they played Who You Are which I've been chasing live since '98. (in addition to many other great songs). Hands down it was one of my favorite live concert experiences.

TEN, Vs., and Vitalogy are epic albums even if you're not a PJ fan. arguing over which is better is useless. The only thing i can add is that most crowds are always better on friday and saturday as the weekend allows for so much more buildup

    of course.... that's my opinion

Ten from philly or Ten from when they played it on the 91/92 tour?
