PJ Trip to Maine

Pearl Jam has inspired me in so many ways. My passion is helping those less fortunate than myself. I live in Maine. My dream would be for Pearl Jam to come to Maine to play an amazing concert and to check out what they've helped to ignite. Please help bring Pearl Jam to Maine and visit socialsignificance.org to check out what I hope you all can be a part of.
Thanks,
Tim Folley

Not necessarily a "cool" venue but there is the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor. Holds 15,000 - 16,000 and they've been getting some big names up there the last several summers. Definitely could work. . .

Mumford and Sons played a show on the Eastern Prom back in 2012 (as part of a festival of sorts) that had a pretty big turnout. I was hopeful that they would do something like this every summer, but they were one and done. As I recall, there were minimal, if any, arrests or issues. But I think the city has voted against it each time it's been brought up since. Would be sweet if PJ could play there.

I think the need for it has kind of been satisfied by how many shows they're booking at the Maine State Pier too. Seems like they're doing as many (if not more) shows there than they are in Bangor. Not the same capacity obviously but still an outdoor venue that's getting a bunch of shows. THAT is a cool place to see a show.
